About Us

Minesweepers® is the world's first and only running charity dedicated to raising funds for landmine clearance. The group was started in the fall of 2001 as a project of the United Nations of San Francisco Young Professional Group with funds raised by J. Fernando Correndor after running Baltimore's Inaugural marathon.
